Am I eligible?
Bioenergy Europe members are stakeholders involved in all aspects of the bioenergy value chain from more than 33 different countries. Biomass producers and traders, equipment providers, energy producer, boiler and stove manufacturers, R&D actors, service providers, certification bodies, renewable energy producers, advocacy bodies, finance & investment bodies.

Are there membership categories?
We offer 2 categories of membership: full and associated members.
Full Member (FM) affiliation is open to all national bioenergy and renewable energy associations.
Associated Member (AM) affiliation is open to all organisations which are not eligible to become full member: sectoral associations (pellet, biogas, miscanthus, etc.), companies, research centres, governmental bodies, universities, consultancies, public authorities.

What are the fees?
We offer a range of fees depending on your organisation's type and size. Find out more here.
What about European Pellet Council (EPC)?
Members of the European Pellet Council (EPC) are also members of Bioenergy Europe. In order to become a member of EPC, your organisation must first apply to become a member of Bioenergy Europe. EPC members are national pellet associations or related organisations.
My company wishes to join Bioenergy Europe, We use biomass, but we do not generate turnover directly from its use. How will my membership fees be calculated?
For companies that are using biomass internally in their processes, the membership fees is based not on their bioenergy turnover but on the value of the biomass used. Please contact the Business Development and Membership Department for further clarifications.
